This section is all about the starting point of NPO. You shall understand the meaning of NPO / NGO / INGO, Registration procedure, Documents required, process & compliances. In summary we shall discuss Laws & Regulations.

NFRS For NPOs

This section deals with accounting principles and guidelines that are applicable to NPOs along with treatment of some special items including Inventories, Property Plant & Equipment, Donation, Fair Values & Other relevant items.

Financial Statements

This section deals with preparation & presentation of different financial statements to be prepared by a NPO. It includes Statement of Financial Position, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Reserves & Management Reports.

Fund Accountability

Fund accounting is an accounting system for recording resources whose use has been limited by the donor, grant authority, governing agency, or other individuals or organization or by law. It emphasizes accountability rather than profitability.

Case Studies on Taxation

In this section, we shall look upon the taxability of NPO as per Income Tax Act 2058 and other relevant acts if applicable. It covers Tax Exemption Certificate, Applicability of VAT & TDS, & Annexure 5 Ka.
